Behind Honeybear Art & Accessories is the two of us; Graydon Wallace and Sarah McAlpine. We met one day at a local art store in 2022, and have been quoting movie lines and avidly discussing art history with each other ever since. 

We both grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and have years of experience creating and designing graphic art. As two artists who create work that is quite similar in style and subject matter, the merging of our independent practices became the natural path forward in our artistic careers.

The stories behind musical artists, the aesthetics of where graphic & album art meets decorative art, and the way those common interests connected the two of us, is what inspired us to combine our creative forces. In that same way, I Love You, Honeybear -- the title of our favourite Father John Misty album-- is what inspired the namesake for our collaboration.

Our story represents the point where our common passion for music & pop culture intersected with our passion for making art-- and led to our mission to create funky poster art that will resonate with nerds, just like us.

All our artwork is lovingly produced using traditional mixed media (ie. pencils, inks on paper) and/or digital media (ie. Photoshop and Procreate). From the drawing board to the printer, we create vibrant posters, in a variety of subjects, tailored for stylish wall display.
